Helloooooo...testing 1-2-1-2...

*big sigh*

Well, it seems that magical spark has ebbed it's way back...it took a long time and I think only at this moment, I have the words to describe where I am.

I'm not going to go into the depths of the past 4 years...they were dark and cold...but now, I realize...that I'm not going to focus on my Art as a financial gain, but as something that I LOVE to do.

When I started doing my work, I did it because it was a wonderful creative outlet, but when I decided to sell my work...it changed the joy I had in creating it. I also hated to sell my creatures...I know, that's selfish...but I had really created them for myself. *sigh*

That being said, I've decided to start creating again...going within and pulling out some magic that's been dormant for awhile. Doing my Art, because I love it...and if I get a stock of creations done and an oppurtunity comes to sell or show, maybe I will. All I know is that I cannot do it, with the intentions to make a profit...I just can't combine those two things, I cannot be motivated by profit...I wish I could, but the last few years have shown me that I can't.

So I'm doing it for me...YAY ME!

I have some mixed media canvas work that I'm starting on and I'm VERY excited about it! I would also like to get back to my creatures, they've been SO patient with me and soon they will come to life and this...makes my soul happy.




And now, I gotta figure out how to move around and do stuff on DA, because EVERYTHING has changed. GAH!
